Now, let's say you: Partially fill your tank again at Odometer reading 1300 with 5 liters.
Travel 100 km before your next fill-up.
We don't know how much fuel you used in those 100 km because the tank wasn't full at the start. So, the app can't calculate efficiency for that trip.
What happens next?
You fill your tank completely again at Odometer reading 1500 with 10 liters.
Now, we know the total fuel used for the combined distance of both trips (300 km) is 15 liters (5 liters + 10 liters).
The app can finally calculate the average efficiency for both trips as 15 liters / 300 km = 5 liters/100 km.
Remember: Only full tank fill-ups provide enough information for accurate efficiency calculations.
Partial fill-ups make the calculation incomplete and unreliable.
The app will wait for a full tank before showing your efficiency for trips involving a partial fill-up.
